Very beautiful French Bisque Poupee by Gaultier ,
has lovely delicate bisque with wonderful large eyes , gorgeous original blonde mohair wig in elaborate coiffure over cork pate ,
sturdy original body and wearing fantastic with her original silk couture costume and " jewel " accessories.
She is 14,5" ( 37 cm ) with pretty and pale bisque quality swivel head on kid-edged shoulder plate .
Superb blue enamel inset eyes with painted lashes and fine feathered brows .
Accented nostrils and eye corners , closed mouth with center accent line and pierced ears .
Superb original mohair wig in elaborate coiffure over cork pate , pretty silk ribbon decoration and tiny glass pearls around the front.
Head mark ...1 .... in all perfect condition and free of damage , chip , hairline or other.
Original French kid poupee body with shapely torso , guessed jointing at elbows ... his and knees. Fine stitched and separated fingers.
Wearing wonderful with her original two piece silk costume ... all hand stitched , antique undergarments and socks. As finally a pretty jewelery set of tiny glass pearls..... The dress condition is generally very good to age but note small melting parts at the silk jacket.
