Most beautiful light green and cream antique silk costume with matching wire bonnet... fit perfect French or German doll about circa 19"/20" ( 50-52 cm )....for Jumeau - Steiner - Bru - Gaultier - Eden Bebe or other one of your favorite doll´s !!
It is a pretty most hand sewn one of a kind French dress of light green silk and pretty cream and green striped silk.... fully ornate with beautiful French lace and a lot of elegant accessory.
Pretty ornate front part with lace collar, small silk ruffle trim and silk ribbons , with small stand up collar .
The 3/4 long sleeves has big ruffled upper part puff and fine lace decoration with lace ruffles at wrist.
The complete upper dress and the sleeves are from light green and cream striped silk , the skirt is from green silk and striped silk at hem.
The skirt is fully ornate with pretty French lace and silk ribbons at both sides.
At the left side has it a very nice decoration of lace flowers ornaments and cream cord with tassel .
The dress is fully lined inside with soft and fine ivory cotton with lace ruffles at hem and would closed at back side with metal hooks and loops.
To the pretty dress belongs a matching bonnet with typical French high brim..... fully hand ornate with small pleats and ruffles and French lace inside the high brim.
A small rack of wire hold the brim always in perfect high form.
Finally decoration with cream silk ribbons, bows and a pretty silk flowers bouquet.
Inside is the bonnet fine lined with muslin.
Wonderful one of a kind doll costume in beautiful color and in generally excellent fabric and lace condition...about the 19th. century !
