Fantastic Antique French Three Piece Pique Bebe Costume

Wonderful three piece light cream cotton pique ensemble of gorgeous jacket , sleeve lose dress and matching wire bonnet.

All together from horizontally and square banded cotton , most hand sewn and fantastic ornate with soutach loop decoration.

Wonderful jacket with long sleeves fully ornate with soutach trim matching to the front and back part of the jacket.

The back side has also small pleats and longer train in back decoration with fall perfect over the "que de Paris" of the back of the dress.

The jacket is to close at front with two pretty porcelain buttons and hand made button holes. Two light pink silk ribbons ornate the both sides of the jacket.

The sleeve lose dress has a typical French longer back side with " Que de Paris" ..... and a small hope skirt cage inside the skirt hold the "Que... " always in prefect form !

The dress is to close at side of the front with hooks and eyes and the skirt has a pretty ruffle of hand embroidery eyelet lace. Finally a wonderful silk velvet sash in baby pink ornate the waistline.

To the dress and jacket belongs a all complete hand made pique bonnet .... fully of small ruffles and pleats and around the brim ornate with hand embroidery eyelet lace matching to the skirt ruffles.

Outside very pretty with baby pink silk velvet ribbons and hand made silk flowers... Inside the high brim hold a small rack of wire the bonnet always in perfect form.

Absolute wonderful one of a kind couture costume ...never to find such the same again.
