Superb French Aqua Blue Silk Sateen Costume with Bonnet

Most beautiful French antique silk sateen costume in aqua blue color , most hand sewn and elegant ornate with hand made laces and fine details.

Would fit perfect for Jumeau , Steiner , Bru , FG .... or other pretty French or German doll about around 23" / 24" ( 58 - 60 cm )

The dress has hand made ruffled and pleated front part with cream silk ribbon and hand made lace decoration at both sides.

Has small ruffled long sleeves with lace decoration around the wrist and wonderful silk sateen skirt fully covered with French hand made lace part.

Cream silk sash around the wrist ornate with three silk bows at front and lose ribbons which has nice silk flowers trim circles. The same trim you can find at the front neckline.

You can close and open the dress at back side with hooks and eyes and also here it has on large cream silk bow. Inside fully lined with cream muslin !

To the dress belongs a matching bonnet , the head is fully hand ruffled and beautiful ornate with large silk and wax flowers bouquet and silk bows.

Around the brim has it three row of lace with blue silk loops and a small rack of wire inside hold it always in perfect form ! Inside fine lined with gauze .........

Marvelous French outfit in generally excellent fabric and lace condition at the 19th. century !!!! Never to find such the same again...........
