Rare to find automaton bisque Bebe Premier Pas .... trade name given by Jules Nicholas Steiner for on beautiful Bebe with walking mechanism of on 1890 patent by Steiner.

Wonderful and very rare to find all factory original condition automaton doll with well working mechanism and childlike face expression bisque head by Steiner A with rare wire - lever sleep mechanism eyes ...... like on pretty Steiner Bourgouin !!!

Sweet and childlike 24" ( 62 cm ) French Bebe called " Bebe Premier Pas " .....with fine quality of bisque socket head which has deep blue paperweight sleep eyes with rare well working wire-lever sleep mechanism .

Has brush-stroked brows with fringed detail and pretty rose - blushed eye shadow. Fine painted lashes with "dot" highlights and on open mouth with pretty shaded lips and row of five porcelain teeth between her lips.

Charming impressed dimples at chin and lip corners. Original brunette human hair wig with original pink silk bow on typical and original paper Steiner pate !

Perfect condition of bisque .... free of damage , repair , hairline or other problem. Note only a very fine hairline at side of her right glass eye otherwise all perfect !!

Pretty original French composition fully jointed body with original body finish and leather pants , inside well working walking mechanism with original key and lever handle ...... if you move the key and releases the lever the doll start to walk like on imitaiting human walking .

So you can hold the doll on her both hands and walk together with her..... very sweet !!

She has beautiful hands with special fine painted pale finger nails ............. Small well done color repair at body...not disturbing !!

Wearing factory original Muslin dress with hand embroidery lace decoration and pretty pale pink silk ribbon and bows. Small side opening for the key , cream muslin blouse and set of under wearing. Socks and leather booties by " Alart " .... Beautiful cream bonnet ........... The dolly comes with the nice bag which you can see on my pictures .
