Marvelous French Silk Costume with Bonnet

Gorgeous French silk and lace dress with matching silk sateen bonnet ..... most hand sewn and fully with beautiful details , fit Jumeau .... Steiner ..... Bru ..... Gaultier ..... Eden Bebe or other French or German doll about 27" / 28" ( 69 - 70 cm )

It is a one of a kind outfit and you can never find again the same again....has gorgeous front part ornate with many small ruffles , small pleated strips , hand made silk flowers and fine lace decoration. Stand up collar from lace and light blue silk , puffed sleeves with fine lace decoartion at wrist. Wonderful back side...also fully ornate with French lace and lace ruffles and beautiful cream silk skirt ....also here fully ornate with lace.

The skirt has three parts..... as first the cream silk and lace one , under it on small part of chiffon silk ,then on skirt of light blue muslin and finally on hand embroidery cotton slip. Some pretty silk ribbons and bows are the finish touch of the dress, which you can close at back with hooks and eyes. It is inside fully lined with pale blue muslin......

To the dress belongs a hand made cream silk sateen bonnet..... has pale blue silk front and ruffles of wonderful French lace matching to the dress. Outside fully ornate with sateen ruffles and pleats and a small rack of wire inside the brim hold the bonnet always in perfect form. Finally touch here a pretty bouquet of silk flowers .

Shoulder to shoulder ..... circa 7" ( 18 cm )

Waist around ........ circa 17" ( 43 cm )

Stunning outfit in generally excellent fabric condition from the 19th. century !!!
