Rare early French Teenager Poupee with Wooden Body

Outstanding early Teenager style poupee with pretty brilliant eyes , rare body style and wearing very fine early linen and lace enfantin costume .

Very lovely little 14" ( 35 cm ) poupee in the Barrois genre with pale bisque swivel head on kid - edged bisque shoulder plate , pale blue glass inset eyes with finest painting of dark eyeliner ...... long lashes and brows.

She has on closed mouth with fine outlined lips and little dimples . Pierced ears with original glass earrings in red and original brunette mohair wig over cork pate ( note small missing part of her hair )

Rare kid over wooden poupee body with beautiful bisque lower arms with fine modeled fingers and nails. Dowel jointing at shoulders , hips , knees and elbows ..........

Her condition is generally excellent .... the bisque is free of damage , chip , hairline or repair .... all perfect head and shoulder plate , perfect bisque arms and fingers !!

Wearing superbly with early linen enfantin costume with lace and silk ribbon decoration , beautiful bonnet and leather boots with heels , set of under garments .

Rare to find all original early Teenager style poupee from France circa 1860 ..... a little sister or daughter for your Fashion.
