Most Beautiful French Silk Costume with Bonnet

Pretty one of a kind French silk costume with matching bonnet .... will fit perfect for French or German doll about around 24" / 25" ( 62 - 64 cm ) like Jumeau , Steiner , Gaultier , Bru , Eden Bebe or other pretty doll.....

You will never find such the same pretty outfit again , it is most hand sewn and fully with fine details. Of cream silk sateen with French hand made lace decoration , short pink silk stand up collar and fine ruffled and pleated small inset long sleeves which has small lace ruffles around wrist .

The dress has pleated front with three lose parts of pink silk ribbons with lace and finally bow decoration at each ends . Small pink silk sash around the front waistline and possible to close at back side hand tied off with silk ribbons and hand made small holes !

The skirt is very beautiful ornate with row of pleats and French lace and finally on row of ruffles pink silk around the hem. Some hand made silk ribbon work flowers are the finishing touch at outside .......... and inside is the dress fine lined with gauze slip .

To the pretty costume belongs a hand made couture bonnet .... matching to the dress , from the same silk and pink silk ribbons. Has small ruffles and pleats outside , four rows of small lace ruffles with pink silk loops , fine pink silk trim cord and wax flowers bouquet at brim. A small rack of wire inside hold the bonnet always in perfect form.

Beautiful two piece costume ....to enjoy at one of your favorite doll´s.

Generally excellent fabric and lace condition at 19th. century ( note only small melting part at the silk ribbon work flowers )
