Rare all Original Tiny 8" Steiner Series A Bebe

Rare to find tiny doll by Jules Steiner circa 1889 .... all original condition and in unusual box , has good quality of bisque and painting, original body and costume.

This little darling is only 8" ( 21 cm ) .... has pressed bisque socked head and softly blushed complexion , beautiful deep blue glass enamel inset eyes .

Tiny painted lashes and feathered brows. Tiny open mouth with two porcelain teeth and outlined lips. Deep modeling with dimples around the mouth and chin. Pierced ears with original earrings .... matching color to her pretty eyes , wonderful brunette mohair wig with long curls. She has on original composition fully jointed body with original body finish and beautiful modeled hands with white nails.

Body mark by Steiner at side ; Bebe " Le Parisien " Medaille Dór PARIS.

Head mark ; A 0

Dolly is wearing with her original silk brocade gown with muslin slip , tiny socks and leather shoes. Finally on pretty lace covered straw bonnet .

To this Bebe belongs a very nice and unusual Presentation box in the form of a wardrobe which is also in generally excellent condition like to doll. All complete perfect and free of damage , repair , hairline or other problem ( tiny rubber nose )
