Elegant French Two piece Bebe Silk Costume with Bonnet

It´s a very beautiful two piece silk costume with has a elegant look .... on jacket with skirt and matching bonnet. Fit perfect for French or German doll about around .... 23" / 24" ( 58 - 60 cm ) for Jumeau , Steiner , FG , Bru or other beautiful doll in your collection.

One of a kind and most hand sewn jacket with longer train in back and little bustle , of small striped blue and black silk with row of tiny pleated silk at each front side , fine French lace decoration and silk ruffled parts around neckline and each sleeve.

The jacket has on longer back side with pretty embroidery lace and cream silk bows at each front and back. Small inset long sleeves with ruffled decoration at wrists, inside fine lace pleats wich look´s in a small part at end of wrists.

Closeup of this elegant jacket at front with tiny hooks and eyes and it is inside fine lined with cream soft cotton.

To the jacket belongs a blue box pleated silk skirt , it has beautiful French embroidery lace ruffles at middle of front, edged covered with blue silk ruffled part like the same as on jacket. The skirt has on cream silk waistband with shop label from on Paris shop and it would be close at back with hook and metal eye. Inside fine lined with cream soft gauze and wonderful gauze slip with lace hem.

Finally belongs a pretty matching silk bonnet in round hat form to this wonderful outfit. Has also ruffled silk parts and beautiful blue silk ribbon with large bow , finally on large wax flowers bouquet .

Elegant and one of a kind .... never to find such the same outfit again and it is in generally excellent fabric and lace condition from early 19th. century..... note small melting parts from silk but not disturbing.
