Elegant small bustle dress with antique straw bonnet ... would fit beautiful for French or German doll about around 14" / 15" ( 36 - 38 cm ) . Perfect for Jumeau , Steiner , Bru , Gaultier , Edene Bebe or other pretty doll....
It is on one of a kind elegant outfit with typical French light bustle at back which would hold inside with a small hope skirt cage in perfect form.
From pale gray and burgundy red silk and in combination with hand embroidery lace and pretty accessory. The dress has small long inset sleeves and nice lace collar around the neckline.
It look´s like on two piece jacket dress but it is on one piece outfit which you can open and close at front with buttons and button holes. The skirt has two rows of pleats .... and on hand embroidery lace part and at back side another pleated row of silk.
Burgundy silk sateen ribbons and bow decoration are the finally touch of this pretty dress. It is inside fully lined with cream cotton and it is most hand sewn !!
On wonderful antique straw hat or bonnet which is matching decorate to the dress , belongs also to this outfit and make it complete. Ornate with burgundy silk sateen , ribbons and flowers and a small rack of wire inside hold the bonnet always in perfect form.
All complete generally excellent fabric condition from the 19th. century !! You will never find such the same outfit again ....
