Elegant French Silk Costume with High Brim Straw Bonnet

Very beautiful and elegant French Bebe dress with matching ornate antique straw bonnet ...... one of a kind and never find such the same again. Most hand sewn would it fit perfect for French or German doll about around .... 22" ( 56 cm ) ...for Jumeau , Steiner , Bru , FG , Edene Bebe or other pretty doll.
It is on one of a kind dress from beautiful turquoise and cream silk with pretty ornate upper part at front and back. Fully of hand made small pleats , French lace and pretty silk velvet trim which is ornate with very tiny spangle .
Similar ornate at back also with hand made pleats and bustle , it has two longer singel parts at each side . The front has diagonal part at jacket end . Small inset sleeves with hand made pleats at each shoulder and pleated cuffs at wrist.
Beautiful two color skirt in cream and turquoise , the turquoise parts has fine lace decoration at hem and the skirt is longer train in back with small typical French " Que de Paris " ..... which would hold inside with a small hope skirt cage always in perfect form !
As under skirt has the dress on pretty organza slip with two row of French lace which looks with small row under the skirt.
Close at front with small hooks and metal eyes and is inside lined with soft cream cotton.
Included on antique straw bonnet constructed of narrow overlapping bands of braided straw with typical French high brim , covered inside the head with turquoise silk and outside ornate with two color silk bows and pretty large wax flowers bouquet.
A small rack of wire inside hold the bonnet always in perfect form ! Inside fine lined with muslin row......
Wonderful and elegant French couture costume which is in generally excellent fabric and lace condition from 19th. century .
Note small tiny holes and color different in the silk but all not disturbing !!
Long at front from neck to hem ..... 13,5" ( 34 cm )
Shoulder to shoulder at front .... circa 6" ( 15 cm )
Waist around .... circa 15,5" ( 39 cm )
