~~~ Pretty French Small Emile Jumeau Bisque Bebe ~~~

Very beautiful and rare to find 13" ( 33 cm ) size 4 early EJ Bisque Bebe with superb face expression and gorgeous eyes , original body and wearing with pretty antique costume !

A little darling with delicate pressed bisque socket head of pale and creamy quality of bisque and fine blushed complexion . She has almond shaped blue glass paperweight inset eyes with dark eyeliner and fine painted lashes and feathered brows. Closed mouth with with defined space between the shaded and outlined lips. Pierced ears with Jumeau factory earrings and lovely curled blonde mohair wig over cork pate.

Head mark at back ..... Depose E. 4 J. and artist checkmark

French composition and wooden fully jointed body with original body finish , lose balls at ellbows and straight wrists.

Her condition is generally excellent , the bisque is free of damage , repair , hairline or chip !! Note a fine small fire line at one of her ear and small color repair at her body, one finger restored, please see my pictures !

Otherwise all perfect and most beautiful wearing with under clothing and lovely antique costume from aqua blue silk satin in typical Jumeau style , blue Jumeau socks but only one of her all original silk satin Jumeau Bee mark shoes .... the second are unfortunately missing and finally on pretty antique straw hat .

So she is a very sweet little darling with one shoe... !!!!.... made by Emile Jumeau circa 1884
