Pretty French Pink Silk and Lace Costume with Bonnet

Most beautiful one of a kind silk and lace dress , most hand sewn and beautiful ornate with lovely details.

Would fit well for French or German doll about..... perhaps for Jumeau , Steiner , Bru , FG , or other circa 20" ( 52 cm )doll ,a pretty dress of pink silk and cream lace stripes . Lovely lace collar and chiffon silk trim ornate the upper part and a cream silk sash decorate the waistline. The dress has 3/4 long sleeves with puff at both shoulders and ruffled lace at wrist. The pretty skirt has much wide and row of ruffled lace at hem. Dress closure at back with hooks and eyes and inside is it complete lined with muslin and on pretty hand embroidered cotton slip. Finally decoration with " Bebe " brooch at front .

To the dress belongs a lovely pink silk bonnet which is ruffled at head outside. Has three row of small pleated lace and one row at neckline edged. A small rack of wire inside hold it always in perfect form and on cream large silk bow and silk flowers bouquet ornate the brim. Inside lined with gauze and muslin ......

Wonderful one of a kind costume , to enjoy at your favorite doll in your collection. Note melting on the pink silk strips , otherwise good condition of antique lace and silk from early 19th. century. Small color different in the pretty French lace but not disturbing !!
