Pretty Enfantine Poupee Checkered Linen Dress with Cape

Lovely antique navy blue and cream checkered enfantine style poupee dress , has a low square - cut neckline and upper part with tiny hand made pleats and fine shirring at the waist. Ruffled shoulder of long ruffled sleeves with constructed cuffs with tiny button and hand made button loop closure. Waistband and full skirt formed from double pleats all around . All complete hand sewn with tiny stitches and back side closure with hook at waist and button at neck.

Along with pretty blue silk velvet cape which is fine ornate with cream silk ribbon trim , possible to close with matching ribbon .

Both are in generally excellent condition.... a little dusty and never washed. France circa 1865 , would fit for poupee around 13" / 14" ( 34 - 36 cm ) .

Long at front from nech to hem..... circa 9,5" ( 24 cm ) Shoulder to shoulder ........... circa 4" ( 10 cm ) Waist around ............. circa 7" ( 18 cm )

Cape length from neck to hem......... circa 3,5" ( 9 cm )
