~~~ Elegant French Bebe Silk Costume with Bonnet ~~~

Elegant one of a kind and most hand sewn silk costume for one of your larger French or German Doll... like Jumeau , Bru , Bebe Schmitt , Gaultier or other in your collection about around 25" / 64 cm so it would fit perfect for on size 12 Jumeau Bebe.....

Has long front part with ruffled and pleats of pale lavender silk , both sides ...the sleeves and also the back from burgundy silk velvet with fine French hand made lace decoration around edged. 3/4 long sleeves with puff decoration at booth shoulders and pretty ornate silk cuffs and lace ruffles at booth sleeves.

The dress has long sides and shorter back side with pleated two row from the skirt. Has beautiful skirt of lavender silk , fully with tiny pleats and inside skirt lined with lace and muslin slip !! Dress closure at front with hooks and eyes and upper lined inside with gauze. Finally decoration with large cream silk bow , some burgundy velvet bows and antique Bebe brooch at front.

The pretty all complete hand made matching wire silk velvet bonnet of burgundy silk fit perfect to the costume . Ruffled and pleated head decoration and typical French high brim with beautiful large cream silk bow and wax flowers bouquet . Inside fine lined with cream silk and the wire frame inside hold the bonnet always in perfect form.

Total dress length from neck to hem ....... circa 15" ( 39 cm )

Shoulder to shoulder .......... circa 7" ( 18 cm )

Waist around .............. circa 18" ( 45 cm )

Generally excellent fabric condition from circa 1880 !!!!
