Gorgeous Antique French Poupee Wedding Gown in Box

Very beautiful all original antique special poupee costume for on French fashion doll about around 16" / 17" ( 42 - 43 cm ) !!

Luxury all hand made silk satin bride costume with veil and flowers bouquet preserve in his original store box from France around 1878 /80 and in generally excellent and luxury condition.

The beautiful ornate box included an ivory two piece gown with silk satin jacket with fitted body and back , has box pleated tails and ruffled sides and small inset long sleeves. Fine silk fray decoration around edged and sleeves , lace decoration around neckline. Front closure with hooks and hand made button loops.

With matching very elaborately constructed bustle skirt with front panel offset by horizontal box pleats , above a row of vertical box pleats around hemline . Has very full back of skirt allowing the bustle and wonderful long train . Rare all original blossom row of wax flowers ornate the front and back ...... matching to the wax flowers bouquet at front of jacket. Two row of finest muslin with lace edging belongs to the full muslin lining and muslin skirt inside the satin skirt .

A very nice long silk netting veil with silk and wax flowers circle and luxury tiny glass flowers decoration belongs to the costume , finally an flowers bouquet for the bride hands ......

Generally excellent condition included the original Store Box of on Paris shop .... " at Boul. de Capucine " ( original store label under the box )
