Splendid Silk Poupee Gown circa 1860 for Huret , Rohmer , Barrois ....

Full hand stitched antique gray silk dress with beautiful green silk ribbon and silk velvet trim decoration , has wonderful loops and rosette at front and sleeves. The pretty antique gown has rounded neckline with gauze lining inside , short inset sleeves and fitted bodice with centered front of lovely silk velvet rosette decoration included two row of matching trim. The skirt is pleated at both sides and has middle decoration of velvet trim , matching to the neckline and sleeves .

The bodice is cream soft cotton lined and muslin lined strips around the skirt hem inside . At back you have a closure of hooks and metal eyes ..... all complete hand stitched from around 1860 / 68 and in generally excellent condition to age. Note melting at the silk and a hole at one side .....otherwise good .

A very beautiful and perfect gown for an poupee of 1860 era .... like Huret , Rohmer , Barrois or other pretty one around 17" / 18" ( 44- 47 cm )

Shoulder to shoulder at front ..... circa 5" ( 13 cm ) Waist around ........... circa 9,5" ( 24 cm ) Total length from neck to hem ........... 14" ( 36 cm )
