Rare Fernand Sustrac Mademoiselle Mignonette / 1875

One of the earliest 5 1/2" ( 14 cm ) French Mignonettes by Fernand Sustrac from Paris circa 1875 / 77 in all perfect condition and wearing all original costume !!!

Very beautiful and rare to find slender featured all bisque mignonette which has the rare ball jointed elbows from the Sustrac patents from around 1877 and typical bare feet legs with silk shoes.

She is a pale slender oval face child with swivel head and lovely cobalt blue glass enamel inset eyes with dark eyeliner. Tiny painted upper lashes and single stroke brows , pointy shaped chin and closed mouth with fine painted lips . Original long blonde mohair wig in hip-length braid with silk ribbon decoration .

She has on elongated pale bisque torso with kid-edged neck and defined features. Peg jointed elongated arms and legs , two part arms with swivel ball joints at elbows , rare bare feet and beautiful modeled fingers.

Her condition is generally excellent and free of damage , chip , hairline or repair !! All perfect and rare to find with her original clothing .............

Mademoiselle Mignonette is wearing all factory original with pair of pants of muslin and a wonderful light pink silk gown with ribbon , silk and lace trim . Her pretty straw at is the finally touch of this elegant costume , note some melting at the silk of her dress .
