~~~ Gorgeous French Antique Poupee Gown with Soutache Trim / 1860 ~~~

All original antique special rare to find early white cotton poupee dress with soutache trim decoration from France circa 1860 ...... has generally excellent condition would fit perfect for a smaller size early poupee like Huret , Rohmer , Barroise or other ........

Of fine and soft white cotton with rounded neckline above a fitted bodice which is beautiful covered with two lose parts , one at each side which fall over the shoulders and ends at back as collar. Has pretty short pagoda sleeves and has small pleated skirt in pretty wide.

The dress is fully hand trimmed with expertly appliqued red soutache in a elaborate pattern along the collar and lose front parts, bodice front , sleeves and around neckline. All hand made at Huret era for and early poupee about around 12" / 13" ( 31 - 33 cm )

Back closure with hooks and hand made loops and tiny buttons.

Gorgeous and very rare to find antique poupee gown with total length 9" ( 23 cm ) , Shoulder to shoulder ...... 3 1/4" ( 9 cm ) and waist around circa 6" ( 16 cm ) A special gown for your poupee or her fashion trunk .............
