16" ( 41 cm ) rare early model like a boy unusual expression porcelain doll with pink tinted shoulder head , has plump elongated throat and beautiful face painting of blue eyes with dark blue outer rim , brown and gray eyeliner and single stroke brows . Has fine accented nostrils and closed mouth with light upturned corners of fine defined lips . The head has finest sculpting ears and black painted hair with impressively sculpted overall curls all around the head with defined forelock curls and other framing the face !
He has generally excellent porcelain condition ..... free of damage , hairline , repair or chip .
Original early pale pink poupee kid body with V shaped wrist in good condition to age .
Wearing very beautiful with all original boy dress with original silk ribbon decoration , white blouse and bonnet. Rich set of antique under garments , original stocking and black kid booties . The dress condition has some melting parts .... please see my pictures !
Outstanding and rare early porcelain boy from around 1850/60 (( it was typical at this time to dress a boy like a girl )), unknown rarity factors included strong painted face expression and best quality of light pink tinted porcelain .
