Rare to find small Pouppe of smiling Bru with wood arms ...... an lovely Teenage version of the very popular " Mona Lisa Bru " Poupee of one of the best French Doll Factory in Paris at the 19th. century !
This very rare small model about 12,5" ( 32 cm ) of the wonderful smiling poupee has very choice bisque and exquisitely painting , original body with wooden arms and marvelous Organza and Muslin clothing.
She has an finest pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate , has lovely small light blue inset glass eyes and finest painting of long lashes and feathered brows. Closed mouth with upturned lip corners for her lovely smile on her mouth. Pierced ears and original blonde mohair wig over cork pate . Head size mark at back ............... B
Original small kid body with gusset jointing at hips and wooden arms with delicate hands and fingers , dowel-jointing at shoulders , elbows and wrist .
Most beautiful wearing with Organza and hand embroidery Muslin Teenager Fashion Doll dress , lovely bonnet , set of under garments with socks and booties .
Her complete condition is generally excellent and all original ............ with perfect bisque , free of damage , chip , hairline or repair ..... note a small factory flaw earring hole gap at left ear . Body condition are also generally excellent with perfect wood arms and hands ( shoulder dowel jointing works heavy )
