Another special rare to find and all original wax fashion doll by Lafitte Desirat .... France 1911 .... with exquisite workmannship on the haute couture costumes. Pretty 13,5 " ( 34 cm ) standing lady with poured wax head with slender face , has fine painted and modeled facial features and nice brunet mohair wig . With slender elongated body with padded armature allowing stylish and elegant posing on original silk ..

Wearing all factory original pale pink silk and silver netting costume with matching bag , fine modeled and painted shoes .

Has complete all factory original condition with marks by ; Lafitte - Desirat 1911 (( ink notation of her original velvet base )

Generally excellent condition to age ...... some surface dustiness and tiny melting at silk but all not disturbing !!

Mesdames Lafitte and Desirat designed of the early 20th. century a series of lovely wax dolls to illustrate contemporary fashion dolls as figurines that show us the changes in wonderful couture dresses , coats and accessory . Each doll was hold on her original hand signed platform .
