Beautiful gentle expression 19 " ( 49 cm ) all original bisque poupee by Jumeau from Portrait doll period around 1870 , all perfect condition and with splendid eyes , lovely pale bisque and painting.... finally waering very beautiful antique Party costume and ready to display and enjoy !
Lovely quality pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate , both mark 7 and artist check mark at her head , has gorgeous three color blue glass paperweight inset eyes with dark outer rim .
Dark eyeliner with painted lashes ( tiny factory flaw point at one of her lashes confirms the artist handwork of Jumeau factory ) , has brush-stroked arched brows and closed mouth with fine accented lips and full cheeks .
Pierced ears with glass earrings and pretty original blonde mohair wig with silk ribbon decoration over cork pate !
Original French kid poupee body with shapely torso and gusset-jointing at shoulders .... elbows .... hips and knees , stitched and separate fingers . Body mark by Jumeau factory.....
France around 1870 by Emile Jumeau ...... complete generally excellent condition of bisque , free of damage , repair , hairline ...note a small earring hole chip at one of her ears . Generally excellent kid body ..... only one small leather patches at one shoulder ....otherwise very clean if you can see on my pictures .
Wearing very beautiful original rich set of under wearing ..... shirt and bloomers , under skirt and lovely crinoline , lovely socks and very nice replaced heeled shoes . Superb three piece antique silk party costume ..... muslin blouse and blue silk corset , very beautiful muslin skirt fully ornate with different silk ribbon in pretty colors .... some ornate with small bows . Pretty high brim straw and silk bonnet matching to her lovely costume....
A marvelous and gentle poupee in larger size has wonderful face expression and eyes. Ready to display and enjoy !!!!!!!!
