Little Grodnertal Wooden Twins with fine Original Costume

Rare found of early small wooden doll twins with her original condition and clothing ..... each are only 2,5" ( circa 6,5 cm ) , Grodnertal twins with very similar face expression and same lovely hair-style .

Each tiny all wood doll has fine one piece head and torso , having oval face and elongated throat . Fine carved hair style with black painting and tiny node at head. Each has very similar painted facial features , dark blue eyes and closed mouth , lovely red cheek .

Each dolly has dowel jointing at shoulder , elbows , hips and knees , painted with white stocking and one of the twins has black shoes , the other has blue ones. Wearing very nice original early cotton gowns with full sleeves and lovely lace collar . Original under skirts .... The clothing is all sewn on the bodys and was never removed !!

The tiny doll´s has both generally excellent condition to age .... circa 1845 .... note one of them has a small old crack at the wood neck , the second doll are perfect . Rare to find and both are very cute , they was found in an antique French candy box where both was preserved more as 100 years ....... what a special candy for your doll house or similar display in your collection !!
