Rare Brown Pique Weave & Soutache Trim Poupee Gown from Huret Era

Stunning and so rare to find all original early antique light brown pique gown with wonderful and trimming black soutache from Huret ear circa 1855. Has generally condition to age , of sturdy horizontal ribbing pique and fully hand ornate with black soutache trim.

The wonderful dress has rounded neckline and fitted waist , has short inset sleeves and pretty collar decoration which run from the waist over the front and shoulders to the back of the upper dress. Fine box pleated skirt around the complete waist which formed a very fine waist .

Included and matching wideness Jacket with pagoda shaped 3/4 sleeves and large collar decoration .

Dress and jacket are all hand trimmed with black soutache in an elaborate pattern along the dress bodice front and collar and all around the dress hem.

At jacket also all around hem .... sleeves and collar as well. Both has edged decoration of black ribbon and the dress would be close at back with tiny hooks and hand made loops.

The condition of this rare outfit is generally good to age , is free of any soutache damage ( only one tiny problem at back ) otherwise is the trim perfect . No holes or other but note and accept fading parts at the pique of the dress and jacket... some parts are more pale and other darker . I think you ca see all well on my pictures or as about extra ones.

It is one of the rares and most beautiful gown for your early Poupee like Huret , Blampoix , Barrois or other early Huret style poupee . You will not find a similar one soon again .... it´s a treasure for your Fashion doll collection and doll trunk .....
