Outstanding Rare French Bisque Bebe Nicolas Steiner Clown

Outstanding and rare too find original French Clown Bebe 11 " ( 28 cm... without bonnet ) by Nicolas Steiner with fantastic clothing , has wonderfully rare characterized painting with smiling face expression of an happy face , original Steiner mark body and stunning silk costume in all original clothing !!

A gorgeous little girl has pale white bisque socket head with brown glass inset eyes , painted eye corner lashes and dark eyeliner , funny face expression with pretty facial painting of black curving brows and painting red clown facial decoration . Close mouth with smiling expression and deep dimple lip corners , red painted lips with raised lip corners . Lovely red pointed big nose and pierced ears with original earrings .

Original lamb fur wig over Steiner pate . The rare doll has her original five piece paper-mache body mark at side ; " Le petite Parisienne " with jointing at hips and arms. Has original body finish .........

Head mark at back .... Steiner Paris A 4 He has perfect condition of bisque ... free of damage , chip , hairline or repair and also her original body is generally excellent.

Wonderful original two piece clothing of pink silk costume with funny high bonnet ... all hand sewn and pretty ornate with ruffled row at neckline and hem , matching pink silk high bonnet . Pretty set of under garments with stocking and silk satin shoes. With her pretty hat she is circa 15" ( 38 cm )

This rare and most beautiful girl look´s complete like un-touch condition from France around 19th. century ...... Clown dolls was very popular at the 19th. century which they was offered at different Etrennes catalogs from Paris Department Stores like Printems ..... Grands Magasins au Lafayette ... Au Bone Marche and other Stores in Paris . Nicolas Steiner create a special series of rare to find clown Bebe´s with different look and painting .......
