It´s a rare found from a private house of south of France " Mary Elisabeth " and her trousseau , preserved in a pretty box all complete in generally excellent condition !!
Mary Elisabeth is a very beautiful French bisque Poupee and she was a very long time the best friend from " Amelie Renaud " her first owner for a long time . 14 " ( 36 cm ) pale bisque swivel head poupee on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate , beautiful light blue glass enamel inset eyes with dark outer rim.
Dark eyeliner and finest painting of long lashes and feathered brows. She has beautiful deep modeling of closed mouth with pale accented lips and full cheeks . Inside pierced ears and original mohair wig over cork pate .
She has her original sturdy and clean French kid poupee body with gusset jointing at elbows , hips and knees . Fingers stitched and separate .......... Made in France circa 1870 / 75 and he complete condition is generally excellent , bisque is free of hairline , repair , chip or damage . Note only a small stitching of each arm ( please ask about extra pictures )
The pretty doll owns a lovely trousseau of under garments , cotton night gown , home made fashion dress with skirt and jacket , an pretty dark blue silk bustle skirt with blouse . Two nice hats and a pair of blue bootie ( they have condition as is with missing sole ), another bootie ( second one are missing ). Cream stockings and fine accessory like an lovely fan , binoculars and an little book .
She is wearing also very nice fashion gown of silk with little straw hat , set of under garment with black stocking and shoes.
Mary Elisabeth is preserved in a lovely presentation box along her lovely trousseau and accessory . Box size ... circa 15 ,5 " x 12 " x 3,5" ( 40 x 31 x 9 cm ) ...has good condition to age with lovely inside decoration picture and separate box with gold letter in English... she was a gift for Amelie from a rich Uncle in London
Now she will be a treasure of each fine collection and I´m sure you will love her like her little first owner for more as 100 years .... Mademoiselle Amelie Renaud .....
