Very nice and rare to find French early pinafore of Huret era around 1856/60 .... of homespun fine and soft natural linen . All hand sewn with cap sleeves and open back to close with two button and hand made button holes. Has pretty decoration of red silk rick-rack trim and two pockets at front.
Has good condition to age , note melting at the silk trim .... It would fit well for an early fashion doll about around 17" ( 44 cm ) like Huret , Rohmer , Blampoix and other early doll....
Total length from shoulder to hem .... circa 12 " ( 31 cm ) , Shoulder whide from side to side .... 5 " ( 13 cm ) (( My pretty Huret poupee is only my model))
