Very beautiful and rare enfantine poupee by Simon & Halbig special produced for the french market about around 1875 ... has very beautiful facial and gentle expression of pale bisque and lovely painting , original rare body style and lovely antique clothing !!

12" ( 31 cm ) stunning rare teen poupee with pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate , full cheeks and almond shaped blue glass inset eyes , thick dark eyeliner , very fine painted lashes and arched feathered brows . Closed mouth with outlined lips and un-pierced flat ears. Original dark blonde mohair wig over cork pate.b>

Has rare leather covered all wood poupee body with superb modeled bisque arms to above the elbows . Fine modeled fingers and painted nails .

Her all-wooden body has shapely torso , dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows , hips , knees , and wrist.

The lovely girl has generally excellent condition , best quality of bisque which is free of damage , repair , hairline or chip !! Perfect bisque arms and finger condition !! Body condition good to age , note micro tiny factory flaw at her shoulder plate neck .... please see my pictures !!!
