From France 19th. century an lovely original small French Bisque Pouppe in her beautiful condition in presentation , has pale bisque shoulder head with ice blue glass inset eyes with finest painted lashes. Feathered brows and tiny closed mouth with fine accented lips. She has pierced ears and her original wig over cork pate.
Made in France at 19th. century possible made by Barrois but not sure !
The lovely poupee has nice quality of pale bisque and fine painting and is in generally excellent condition . Free of damage ,repair , hairline or chip .
She has her original French kid body with shapely torso and gusset jointing at elbows, stitched and separate fingers . Wearing very nice original chemis costume of muslin . Lace ace bonnet and pretty set of under garment of under chemise with bloomers and under skirt which are all original hand sewn on her body so that we prefer to keep it as it is because it seems the under wearing was never removed from the doll.
Very beautiful and rare to find all original 12" ( 31 cm )French poupee .... preserved in her an very beautiful presentation box with lovely toilette accessory!
Similar presentation boxes was offered at 19th. century in Etrennes catalog!
The presentation box has good condition to age covered with pale blue paper ,note it is dusty and please accept small damage and stain at the box and doll clothing.
