Cute 13" ( 33 cm ) little darling by Rabery at Delphieu with pretty deep modeling of lovely bisque quality and painting !
13 " ( 33 cm ) French Bebe by Rabery and Delphieu from France circa 1888 with beautiful almond shaped brown eyes , fine painted facial features , original body and wig , wearing lovely costume with fancy bonnet .
Very beautiful cabinet size doll with pale bisque socket head with beautiful amber broun glass inset eyes which are dark eyeliner encircles the eye-cut . Fine long painted lashes , incised eyeliner , brush-stroked and multi - feathered brows . Closed mouth with rose shaded and outlined lips with deep modeling , pierced ears and beautiful original blonde curled mohair wig over cork pate.
Head mark at back ; R . 4/0 D . ( engraved in block letter )
The little doll has generally excellent complete condition ...... free of hairline , damage , repair or chip !!
She has her original French composition and wooden fully jointed body with straight wrists ,original body finish in generally excellent condition as well .... only to note very small color repair at her finger tips, well done!!
Wearing very beautiful lace and muslin costume with pretty antique bonnet. Rich set of her original under garment with French stocking which has cute pink ribbon decoration and her original shoes ( mark size 4 ) .
She one of the most beautiful Bebe`s by Rabery and Delphieu ..... has complete dreamy expression and is ready to enjoy in your cabinet !!!!
