Very rare found of early fashion doll accessories .... " Miser´s Purse " for French Poupee about circa 16"/17" .
From France circa 1860/65 and made for one of the luxury doll boutiques in Paris at 19th. century a special beautiful small miser´s purse of loosely woven dark green fine silk threads with fine decoration.
The elengated bag is designed to loop over the belt or arms , having hidden coin receptacle and is fine ornate with very tiny gold beads and gilt dangles. Finally gilt wraps....
Preserved in his original tiny box with
Has total length without dangles from side to side about 4" ( 10 cm )
