Outstanding rare Fashionable Lady by Lafitte - Desirat

Rare to find all original fashionable lady doll by Lafitte-Desirate from around 1910 , a doll with exquisite workmanship on the haute couture costumes !!

Madames Lafitte and Desirate designed a series of lovely dolls to illustrate contemporary fashion of the early 20th.century . The lovely and rare dolls was made with the background to show the changes in dresses , coats and hats , as well as the moods of the women who wore them !!

Lovely little lady with poured wax head , has slender face posed in angular manner. Has lovely painted facial features with blonde mohair wig . Very slender elongated body with padded armature allowing stylish pose and with fine modeled and painted shoes.

14" ( 36 cm ) in total high included her velvet base , has enerally very good condition to age with surface dustiness on wonderful lace clothing and set of under garments all posed on her original velvet base which are mark with hand written " Lafitte Desirat "
