~~~ Lovely 19th. century Silk Top Hat for Bebe or Poupee ~~~

Very nice antique silk top hat from France around 1885 in generally excellent condition . All hand made original antique one of black silk satin ornate with lovely feather like a little bird

The cone shaped hat has stiffened sides and flat wire-framed brim covered with fine black silk satin , small around brim self-edged.Has matching braid encirles the bands and is decorated with fine feather and silk ribbon.

Underbrim matching covered with black silk and has fine ecru muslin lined interior.

Shown on my 18" Steiner Bebe .....

For head circumference about inside circa 11" ( 29 cm ), Top high 2,5" ( 7 cm )
