Lovely 19th. century French Mignonette in Sateen Egg Presentation

Very nice all original Easter Egg presentation of paper mache egg with silk sateen covered having delicate flowers and ribbon decoration .

Stand of three small metal button feet and is inside filled with cute 4,5" ( 12 cm ) all bisque Mignonette , a slender faced girl has pale bisque swivel head with deep blue inset glass eyes , tiny painted lashes and single stroke brows. Closed mouth and original long blonde mohair wig.

With bisque torso having kid - edged neckline , peg - jointed bisque arms and legs . Joined fingers and thumb fine painted white stocking with blue rims and two strap heeled shoes.

Wearing pretty original ecru Mignonette gown with bustle at back and sweet print of tiny roses , has lace bonnet and two piece of lace trimmed under garments . All hand sewn on her body .

Included a extra silk suit in chocolate brown .... jacket with pants and bonnet.

Has all generally excellent condition .... free of damage , chip , repair or hairline ! Note only a micro tiny imperfection in her bisque ...

From France at 19th. century , generally excellent and a treasure not only to easter !!! The egg are around 6,5" x 4,5" ( 17 x 12 cm )
