Outstanding and rare antique hand woven soft linen gown , all hand sewn enfantine costume attributed by Mademoiselle Bereux for Huret but would looks perfect for Rohmer era Poupee as well !
Wonderful and rare authentic 1855/58 enfantine gown of very delicate orange fine hand woven linen with tiny flowers print and ornate with small black silk ribbon velvet trim
.Two piece costume with jacket and skirt ,the jacket has rounded neck features a fitted bodice with wide bretelles edged all around. Has lovely trumpet - shaped sleeves with shoulder decoration matching around the jacket edged. Has front colure with hooks and hand made loops and is inside fully lined with soft ecru cotton.
Very full cartridge pleated skirt with 4 strips of balck silk velvet ribbon trim from waist to hem at front .
Stunning fashion gown for your Huret or other doll at this era around 1855/58 ,has good condition to age to note little melting and a small repair at middle of skirt front which would complete covered by the jacket !About the age is the gown in good condition !!
Shown and fit all perfect for your Huret poupee about 17" ( 44 cm ).....and would fit for another early doll in this sice as well !
