One of a Kind French Silk Bebe Costume with Antique Straw Bonnet

Outstanding elegant French one of a kind couture silk costume ... would fit well for French or German doll about around 22" / 23" ( 56 - 59 cm ) !! One of a kind and never to find such the same outfit again , has generally excellent silk fabric and trim condition from around 1880 !

Most hand sewn silk gown lovely colorfull and light brown silk in combination with rose silk and silk cord , fully ornate with lovely French details.

Has hand made ruffles and pleated front and back part with rounded neck style , small inset long sleeves with fine decoration at wrist with cuffs. The dress has lose long jacket style with pleated decoration in the skirt as well. At the lose parts has it lovely hand made button .

Lovely hand made lace decoration different parts at the dress in combination with beautiful rose silk bows and silk cords.

The skirt has hand made ruffles and pleats of silk with two rows around at hem. Also here fine French hand made lace decoration at skirt matching other parts of the dress .

Inside is it complete fine lined with muslin and gauze at skirt and has a French store label at inside wrists.

Back closure with hooks and eyes ..........

A beautiful antique straw bonnet complete this outfit . A rounded bonnet with narrow bands of hand made straw ornate with rose silk and hand made lace. Finally lornate with silk ribbons and flowers bouquet, inside the head lined with gauze.

Total length from shoulder to hem ..... circa 14,5" ( 37 cm ) Shoulder to shoulder ......... circa 6" ( 16 cm ) Waist around .............. circa 16,5" ( 42 cm )
