All original and very rare to find firm structured paper mache Fox Terrier Dog as candy box in generally excellent condition from 19th. century which looks so cute and charming .
Has a beautiful ecru and light brown colored real lamb fur cover which is very clean and so pretty.
The puppy has well modeled long muzzle in typical shape of a Terrier ,has original glass eyes with fne modeled eye lids and hanging ears . A short tail and fur covered legs on well constructed body .
Possible to move the lovely head to each side and pull out of the body so that it was simple to fill the body inside with extra goodies like a candy box . At neckline he has his original collar with big bell ....
It is a very nice rare to find candy box in puppy form and structurally excellent about circa 16 " x 15 " ( 41 x 38 cm )
A special and wonderful decoration piece from around 1890 for your doll collection and a very rare to find dear friend for one of your Dolls .....
