Rare Almond Eyed First Series Portrait Bebe by Jumeau 1875 / 78

Rare found of wonderful first series portrait Bebe by Emile Jumeau with special rare almond shaped eyes and very delicately painted features of best quality of pale bisque.

Lovely fur wig and original body , wearing superb antique clothing and under garment of. 13,5" ( 35 cm ) all perfect cabinet size by Emile Jumeau .... circa 1875/78.

Stunning Bebe with fine pale bisque quality of pressed socket head with full cheeks. Has pretty almond shaped light blue spiral enamel inset eyes, dark eyeliner and fine painted lashes and brows. Mauve-blushed eye shadow and closed mouth with outlined lips.

Pierced ears with original factory earrings and nice replaced blonde lamb fur wig over cork pate !...her original one was gone in the years

The rare doll as eneraly perfect head condition ....free of repair , damage , chip or hairline. To note only a tiny factory molde flaw inside her head crown ...

Original french composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-body with straight wrists and original body finish and blue Jumeau stamp mark .

Wearing wonderful antique silk couture dress with richly lace decoration and lace bonnet . Under wearing of factory original three piece set , stocking and French shoes with silk rosette.

Wonderful early cabinet size French Portrait Bebe , extraordinary and rare to find by Maison Jumeau .
