Outstanding Early Wooden Doll in Beautiful Silk Costume

Rare to find in such wonderful condition early all wooden doll in generally excellent condition to age... from around 1790 / 1800th.

Rare early all wooden doll in Queen Anne style has loveable face expression on carved wooden head and torso with bosom and waist. She has inset black enamel eyes with modeled eye lids and single brows. Elegant pointy nose and closed mouth with painted lips and nice blushed cheeks !

Has pretty carved hairstyle of single waves with medium parting at front.

One torso body with all wooden upper and lower arms with spatula shaped hands , crudely carved wooden legs with hip and knee jointing. Body has original finish and painting at legs with stocking and back shoes.

This early little Lady is 10,5" ( 27 cm ) in total and wearing very beautiful .... possible some original of white muslin dress with long inset sleeves and nice row of lace around edged. Has matching pair of bloomers and a matching muslin bonnet . A sleeve lose silk dress with fine hand embroidered front and georgian back style. A black silk covered flat hat and a little back are her finally part of her beautiful outfit.

Very pretty and rare wooden doll in cabinet size about circa 10,5" ( 27 cm ) .Has generally excellent condition and she is a special doll ready to dislplay and enjoy for lovers of early Dolls ...
