Most beautiful and special rare to find 17" ( 44 cm ) all wooden Grodnertal doll in pristine condition with darling facial expression and wearing beautiful clothing with rich under garment .
From German Grodnertal around 1840/60 in fine large size with all original painting beautiful facial expression with fine blushed cheeks and all complete generally excellent condition !
Rare all wooden doll with one - piece head and torso having oval face and elongated throat . Black painted hair with shaded coloring at her forehead. Painted darling facial expression with blue eyes and tiny red lips with hint of smile . Fine carved nose and closed mouth. She owns her beautiful original earrings which are hold inside her ear holes.
All wooden body with original body finish and dowel jointing at shoulders , elbows , hips and knees. Typical shovel hands , legs and feet painted with white stocking and black shoes with red strips.
The rare doll is in pristine condition ... generally excellent !!
Finally wearing most beautiful all complete clothing with striped muslin skirt and white blouse , beautiful straw bonnet which holding a hand made wig with knot hairstyle .
