A special fine treasure for each good antique doll collection is this large size all bisque Mignonette in her wonderful costume !
The 9 " ( 24 cm ) all bisque Mignonette is an very nice early all bisque child in generally excellent condition made for French market by Simon & Halbig ( Germany ) circa 1885/90 !
The early all bisque dolly has cute facial expression with lovely painting , pale bisque socket head with lovely brown glass sleep eyes , fine painted lashes and feathered brows. Small open mouth with tiny row of porcelain teeth at her accented lips and she has lovely dimpled chin.
Un pierced ears and original brunette mohair wig over cork pate . The pretty doll has her original pale bisque five piece body with plump modeling , peg-jointed bisque arms and legs with modeled brown strap heeled shoes with tiny bow at front and painted black ribbed stocking .
She has very fine modeled fingers with nails and lovely modeled body with muscles !! Her complete condition is generally excellent ... all free of damage , hairline , or repair ...... note only a not disturbing very small chip at one of her hips.
Head mark only with .... S & H Made 886 circa 1885 .
Wearing all original two piece silk dress with bonnet , set of under garment ! The skirt has lovely hand embroidered decoration and it has all very nice color combination !
