Rare French Bisque Bebe by Joanny

From a private familie in France we got a rare to find bisque Bebe from around 1880 / 84 by Joseph Louis Joanny , dolls by this company are rarely found and was offered and sold at 19th. century in the luxury Paris doll Stores !!!

Stunning child like Bebe about 22 " ( 56 cm ) has lovely pressed bisque socked head with very plump cheeks , beautiful brown enamel inset eyes with dark eyeliner and fine painted lashes , brush-stroked and feathered brows.

Deep modeled closed mouth with fine space between her well defined shaded and outlined lips , lovely modeled pierced ears and pretty original blonde curled mohair wig over cork pate !

The doll has her original early 8 balls composition and wooden jointed body with lovely plump limbs . It was Christmas about 1910 that she got from a familie member a color refresh on her body which she still has until today !

Her complete condition is generally excellent , bisque is free of hairline , damage , repair or chip !! Body is in good condition as well but note the old color refresh !

Wearing most beautiful with her complete outfit which fits perfect for the winter season but also for the summer !! Has a set of under garment and lovely cotton dress with lace decoration. A nice silk velvet coat with matching ornate straw bonnet and a nice home made winter collar with muff ! French Shoes by Alart and red stocking ! Lovely complete outfit which is in good condition as well only the silk coat is worn with melting parts.
