Wonderfully preserved French Mademoiselle Jumeau with very sturdy original body , superb bisque and painting on very kind expression , wearing superb original silk costume , under-wearing and booties in generally excellent condition !!
A luxury poupee model with distinctive and elegant presence about 17" ( 44 cm ) pretty fashion doll with lovely pale bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate and gentle face expression . She has almond shaped pale blue glass enamel eyes with dark eyeliner and fine painted long lashes .
Feathered brows and closed mouth with fine outlined lips . Inside the head pierced ears with original earrings and original blonde long mohair wig over cork pate .
Original sturdy and clean kid poupee body with gusset jointing at hips , knees and elbows .... stitched and separate fingers.....
Her condition is generally excellent , bisque are free of damage , chip , hairline or repair !!
Mademoiselle was made in France by Pierre-Francois Jumeau circa 1870th.
