Superb French Woolen and Silk Costume for Jumeau or Bru Bebe

Very beautiful one of a kind silk and all hand embroidered woolen costume for French Bebe around 22"/ 23" ( 58 - 60 cm ) ... fit perfect for French or German Bebe , most hand sewn and in generally excellent fabric condition from around 1880......!

A two piece outfit of lovely blue silk and fully hand embroidered soft matching blue color wool, has lovely hand made ruffled silk front and back . Has puffed shoulders at both 3/4 long inset sleeves , each has small a cuff and pretty lace decoration around the wrist. Shorter jacket back and the skirt with inset ruffled silk matching to the front. Jacket has beautiful hand embroidered longer sides and lace decoration at front side edged and around the neckline at back.

Box pleated skirt of silk and under the hem look´s a row of lace from the skirt inside gauze slip.

The jacket is fine lined inside with soft cotton ....... Closure at side of front with hooks and eyes and at the skirt at right side with hooks and loops as well.

To the two piece outfit belongs a matching round bonnet with fine pleated edged and ornate with a nice silk bow and flowers bouquet !
