Rare to find 11,5" ( 30 cm ) unusual French bisque Bebe by Emile Louis Douillet .... mark ; E 2 D .... special made by Jumeau factory circa 1885/90 using the initials of Douillet and special produced for this company !!
A rare little girl called " Bebe Incassable " .... was produced only over a short time over around 2 years in a small edition of this pretty Bebes and would be a special doll for each collection.
Lovely quality pale bisque socket head with deep blue glass inset paperweight eyes encircle with dark eyeliner and fine painted long lashes. Brush-stroked and feathered brows and closed mouth with fine outlined lips and small space between her lips.
Pierced ears and she has her original brunette mohair wig over cork pate.
Has complete generally excellent condition..... free of damage , chip , hairline or repair . Note a not disturbing tiny earring hole chip at one of her ears !
She has her original French wooden and composition fully jointed body and original body finish...... Labeled at back with round paper " Bebe Incassable " ...
Wearing very beautiful with her original antique under garment included her chemise ..... most beautiful Muslin dress with lace bonnet , stocking and French shoes !
