Rare French Bisque Long Face Bebe size 13 by Emile Jumeau / 1885th.

All around so beautiful French Long Face Bebe by Emile Jumeau in all perfect condition and wearing lovely antique " Party " gown , has cute facial expression , original body and wonderful mohair wig !!

A rare nicely model designed and sculpted by the great French artist " Carrier Belleuse " on commission from Maison Jumeau , known as " Bebe Triste " in reference to her sad facial expression !

Childlike 28" ( 72 cm ) Bebe size 13 which has best pale quality of pressed bisque and lovely painting , has bisque elongated socket head with very full cheeks and chin of deep modeling ! Lovely brown hazelnut glass paperweight inset eyes with dark eyeliner , fine painted lashes and mauve blushed eye shadow. Brush stroked brows and accented eye corners . Has closed mouth with deep modeling of shaded and outlined lips. Beautiful separately modeled pierced ears and beautiful long curled mohair wig over cork pate !!

Has her original French composition and wooden fully jointed body with typical straight wrists. Original body finish has small parts of old small color refresh at her hands which are not disturb...

Her complete condition is generally excellent !! Her bisque has perfect condition and is free of chip , damage , hairline or repair !! Head mark only about her size 13 ....

She wears a lovely antique party costume with matching bonnet , rich set of under garments with stocking and French booties mark by " Au Louvre " Paris doll boutique ....
