A wonderful early period Bebe with rich eye decoration , fine creamy pale bisque , original wig and body , lovely wearing with pretty straw bonnet !!
Childlike 18" ( 46 cm ) Bebe with pale pressed bisque socket head of best quality with pretty large blue enamel glass inset eyes with dark eyeliner which encircles her eye cute. Fine long painted lashes with brush stroked brows.
She has on deep modeled closed mouth with defined pale space between her shaded and accented lips. Separate modeled pierced ears and beautiful original human hair wig over cork pate .
Marks at back of her perfect head ; Inside .... 8 E.J. Depose and artist check mark
Generally excellent bisque condition..... free of hairline , damage , repair or other bisque problem !!
She has her original French paper-mache and wooden full articulated body with original finish. Has Jumeau blue stamp at back and straight wrist. Also in generally good condition to age , has small color refresh at her legs .
Finally wearing with set of antique under garments with stocking and E.J. mark Jumeau shoes in condition to age , lovely blue and ecru silk costume with much hand embroidery and pretty high brim straw bonnet which complete her pretty outfit nicely !!
Very nice early bisque Bebe of E.J. period with luminous eyes by mauve blushing , original articulated body and most beautiful clothing !!
