A rare treasure for each collection is this rare large size all bisque Mignonette in her wonderful costume and generally all perfect condition !
A 9 " ( 24 cm ) all bisque Mignonette , an very nice early all bisque child in generally excellent condition made for French market by Kestner ( Germany ) circa 1885/90 !
The early Mademoiselle has cute facial expression with lovely painting , pale bisque socket head with light blue glass sleep eyes , fine painted lashes and feathered brows. Small open mouth with tiny row of porcelain teeth at her accented lips and cute dimpled chin.
Rare pierced ears and original brunette mohair wig over plaster pate .
The pretty doll has her original pale bisque five piece body with very plump modeling , peg-jointed bisque arms and legs , has very fine modeled fingers with nails rare muscular body modeling . Superb modeled strap heeled shoes with rare yellow ribbed stocking .
Head mark only 111 .
Has gvenerally excellent condition ... free of damage , chip , hairline or repair !!
Wearing beautiful silk costume with back bustle and under dress. Nice high brim straw bonnet ...
She is ready to display and a lovely piece to enjoy !!
